Focused Efforts to Restore Lives and Homes

How It’s Going

If not me, then who?” ~ Travis Manion, USMC

“We keep finding pockets of people who have not been helped.” ~ ____, team lead

Our plan is to continue meeting shifting needs for the foreseeable future. THERE IS SO MUCH NEED and entire towns need help both surviving and rebuilding. We will continue to reduce redundancies and partner with others who fulfill different roles in the endless work to help so many good people.

We see our operations as breaking down into THREE FOCUSED EFFORTS. These concentrated efforts overlap daily, but

FOCUS 1: Meet emergency needs in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Helene destruction. Provide directly to recipients donated supplies, food, water, clothing, lanterns, tents, tarps, cleaning supplies, generators, chain saws, other equipment, and more.

FOCUS 2: Prepare for harsher winter months by providing heat and shelter through campers, tiny homes, hot tents, propane, tent stoves, safety equipment such as carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers. Consider insulating the tents.

FOCUS 3: Plan for home rebuilding once through the winter by assessing need. Search for inexpensive or donated building materials. Coordinate deliveries.
